Helping Hands Volunteer, Katmandu, Nepal-Assisted with dressing wounds, Took blood pressure and pulse.
Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Volunteer, Palo Alto ,CA-Assisted with fitting prosthetics. Sculpted Plaster casts for braces.
Good Sameritan Hospital Emergency Room Volunteer, Los Gatos, CA-Comforted Patients and family members, Made coffee and tea, Made the beds and Stocked the shelves . Transported medicine and samples.
West Valley College Art Gallery, Saratoga, CA October 1998 – July 1999 Greeted gallery visitors and talked about the pieces
on display; arranged and hung paintings in the gallery; helped produce fliers for the show; answered phones; hosted gallery shows.

Olympiad of the Arts: Awarded first place in a California regional contest
West Valley College: Awarded a stipend to travel to Morocco to paint
The San Francisco Art Academy: Awarded a scholarship of artistic achievement
Oregon State University: Awarded a scholarship for artistic achievement to attend a jump-start program (a college art program for high school students).
